Please Help

Please Help

Just a quick update and request…… Secretary Salazar needs to know that the Endangered Species Act needs to be able to take into consideration the effects of green house gases on a species environment while evaluating the listing of that species on the Endangered Species List….this only makes sense… protect the species but not the environment it lives in from one of the biggest future threats a species could face. We have only a few days left. So call his office at 1-202-208-7351 and tell him you care. And you can also send a letter just go to read and edit if you like then just press send. Thank you for caring. So be at peace and feel joy for helping those that need our help to be safe and have a future……… until our paths cross again…… Lila

05/11/09 Up date. Secretary Salazar heard our call for action but he did not resend all of the ruling, so greenhouse gas’s impact on the over all health of the environment for those listed or considered for listing on the ESA can not be considered a part of the problem…. so much for the “new administration” and the “Yes we can”. I am coming to understand about how special and magical Washington D.C. really is… as it appears that once entering this magical kingdom, all memory of promises and common sense must be checked at the door. But please know this we, us and all of the people, who have been working will continue to work to change this injustice….. we may have lost a battle but we have not lost the war to bring about the right kind of change….. thank you all that have helped and especially the Center for Biological Diversity, they are on the front line working hard every day….. I think the last report I got said they planned on taking this to court and continue the fight, if you would like to help in any way you can click here to link to their site…… …… thank you for caring….be at peace until our paths cross again and pray it will be a joyous time of celebration…. Lila

Again special thanks to the Center for Biological Diversity for the link, photo and updated info.
