Just a short note about my photo credits. Some of the photos for my Critter Tales are mine indeed taken here at our home and our little humble urban wildlife habitat and are some of my critters. Over time my illness has caused fine trimmers and some days there is no way I could take a photo except by using a tripod. Most of the time that just isn’t possible. So in blogging I feel most do not want to spend hours reading a novel where you can take the time to describe in detail how someone or some critter looks and therefore have a vivid picture in your mind because of those details. I could do just that, but believe me, I already can get a little long winded as it is…lol…. see just look at this short note! OK!  I do use other photos and will always list where they came from or who took them as long as I can find that information…. when unable I’ll list as unknown and if anyone does know, if you will let me know I will gladly give credit. If I’m using it, that means it’s good! I receive nor make any money or gain from the use of these photos except the joy of seeing them and since they were on the Internet already I think that falls with the realm of public domain as long as it isn’t copyrighted.  If it is copyrighted I’ll not be using it unless I have permission to do so. If you see a photo that is yours and it is not credited to you, then by all means let me know and I well gladly credit it to you or take it down if you want as soon as I receive your request. I myself have found my own photos in places I never would of guessed it would be and was not given credit, but upon research I now understand how this could happen. I have found my photos and then tried to back track through all the twists and turns of the Internet and now see how this very well happens. Now for the photos used in my environmental entries are from the e-mail and e-news letters from the different environmental groups I am a member of and these are also available on line, I have been giving credit on those entries somewhere in the body of that entry. I am currently working to get all of my credits now set up to this new format since coming to WordPress, so I am working from newest to oldest to get all of the photo credit right please bare with me until then….. thank you. Lila

Dec. 4, 2009: Just a short update…. I am still very behind on my listings but haven’t given up! Also to note that all photos used in my custom header are photos taken by me and are the seasonal changes in my view from my room. New updated photo shows that the fall color change has finally taken place….. late this year….. normally by now all leaves would have fallen…. but I will enjoy the color change while I can! Thanks for stopping by and be joyful and at peace with all around you until our paths cross again…….. Lila Byrd

May 18, 2010: I have begun to change the way I give my photo credits. Most of the time now all you will need to do is roll your mouse over the photo and a pop up will give the photo credit and also it may contain some other information about the photo. But from time to time if I have a problem with the new method I will then post here as I have in the past. And again if you find a photo here and it is yours and I don’t have a credit to you or anyone then please let me know so that I can give you the proper credit you deserve…..because if I am using your photo then it is because it is GOOD!……….. Lila
